A well placed source inside the Bruins management team has leaked to the media that the Boston Bruins have an agreement in place that would see Chris Pronger, MA Fleury, Maxime Talbot and Tony salmelainen all heading out of town in a blockbuster deal to kick off season 2.
When GM Bryce Shuck was asked about the deal he simply said "no comment". But it is interesting to note that the team has already removed the above players from their training camp roster.
Fans are now howling, who is the new starting goalie? Shuck has often denied any overtures at Pronger, what made him change his mind? What is the hold-up to making something official?
I guess we will have to wait to see, but the city of Boston is up in arms as they wait with baited breath to see what is going down.
Interesting, given Boston traded away the following assets to get Pronger in the first place (with re-rates):
Poti 77 ov Westcott 74 ov Tjarnqvist 73 ov Bryzgalov 74 ov
and prospects defenseman Tom Gilbert (6 pts in first 12 NHL games) and Tampa Bay's number one prospect according to Hockey's Future, goalie Karri Ramo.
I can pretty much guarantee Emery and Phaneuf were involved in the deal..
I can neither confirm or deny the rumor of that deal.
I also cannot comment on the rumor that Pronger got 3 New England Patriots' cheerleaders pregnant. Or the rumor that Pronger's wife is a big motown fan and wants to live in the motor city. Or that Bryce Shuck has an unhealthy man-crush on Dion Phaneuf.
I'll leave that stuff up to the Canadian hockey press.

In the interest of not coming off as the biggest dick in the league, and in response to Bryce's new avatar, and in Bryce's big crush on Neely (so much so that I sometimes feel I cross the line making fun of him), I won't have an avatar of a gimp who can't move out of the way of a defender that never won a stanley cup.
You know where to send the hate mail...
