Eric, what makes you think Burke would touch Yashin with a ten foot pole? or any championship, playoff-focused team for that matter. He got rid of Fedorov. No free rides in Anaheim. No way Alexei.
And Rafalski to Columbus? Brian is NOT all about the money. He has spoken with respect of the opportunity he has been given in New Jersey after the NHL shut him out due to his size. He has used the "love" word to describe his feelings toward the Devils organization, so look to Rafalski to re-sign in NJ and if he goes somewhere else, it will be to a respected playoff team, bet your boots on that.
I predict:
Bill Guerin will sign with the Islanders (Snow "expressed interest" in him before the trading deadline)
Alexei Yashin will sign with Columbus (he is only of value to a team needing good regualr season performance, in search of a playoff spot)
Jason Blake will sign with Florida (They have the cash to overpay on a long term contract for a thirtysomething winger)
Michael Peca will return to Long Island (He and Nolan are old buddies)
