Congrats and praise from the New York Rangers front office for thier farm club Hartford Wolfpack on reaching the AHL Calder Cup Finals against either Milwaukee or Portland.
With the Wolfpacks recent win sending them to the finals they secure GM Joe DesMarais more money with another 1 % of the share as well as a possible additional 1 % if they in fact win the Calder Cup. Either way its a great achievement and a testament to the great youthful depth that Ranger Oraganization now has after moving all of its big name stars and riding the roller coaster into the basement of the standings during the second half of the year.
The Rangers organization is committed to excellence and a youthful approach in letting its young stars recieve maximum icetime via New York or Hartford and making the playoffs next season.
And the winner is Hartford Wolfpack. We congradulate Portland on a great playoff run and final. This is the start of big things to come here in the Rangers organization.
