wa...?
I made the most trades (matt in columbus a close second) and made by far the most cover page stories and was active on the boards, certainly was on top of submitting new line formations so often, and was at every draft round save one, an activity rate equaled by only two others
i think i lost bryce's vote because i spoke my mind, though always with the best interest of the league in mind
how minnesota was top-3 in terms of active g.m.s i dunno
oh well... i was robbed... no biggie... injustices happen everyday on the streets of india, this pales by comparison
Thats a good attitude to have NYI. I actually respect that greatly. I do agree with you in fact though. I guess its cause you disappeared for a bit? I wasnt aware of where you were, but maybe you told others. I found out recently.
Ok I added it all up and theres a 1% error somewhere. I think I made a payment twice in this calculation. Anyone wanna take a look through and see if you can find it? It might be the top GM award for 3% and then paying TB again for one of the most active GMs? I dunno.
Ok, I found the error. It was on the actual payouts %'s from the start.
It says team acheivements totals 61% but really they total 62% so we've accounted for 101% total...
I think that extra percent should either come out of the league costs for runniong the website or if any GMs dont "claim their payouts". GMs should have to contact Bryce and Eric to claim. We can prob make up 1% there.
I'll have an update on payouts & receiving them towards the end of next week as I get back from Seattle. We had already found that 1% and are taking it out of league costs.
Thanks for the tabulation Sabres, gives me something to doublecheck my figures against, it is appreciated.
NP, hopefully its accurate! I think it is, Ive doubled over it 2-3 times now and it looks like the numbers line up. Theres just that last 3% to award based on who makes the AHL finals and who wins them.
wow only 7 teams above the profit line.. thats pretty crazy. i was thinking about 10-12 teams would be above that when i first entered this league.. with saying that.. im hoping to make the minor finals.. im at the western conference final now.. and if i make the finals. i get 1 more percent added and if i win i get 2 percent added to my winnings.. so i could actually be on the profit side myself and be the 8th place successful team in the BRHL...
but good work Luke or Aaron. not sure which one of you two did all that payout work.. but it was good to see where all gm's stand.
Aaron took care of the payout breakdown. I was surprised to see so few on the profit side as well. I was also surprised to see everyone made something back aside from just one team.
I thought there'd be 5-6 teams without any money back. I guess having just 1 top 50 prospects is almost like getting nothing back though. :D
I got some luck this year, 2-3 teams deserved it more than I did but I'll take it. My team was built for next season though and I don't think one single GM will be able to say his team is better than mine when the season starts. I think 2 years from now teams like yours, Chicago and San Jose will join me at the top and it will get very hard.

You were probably not robbed here. Maybe if you didn't disappear for 2 months you probably would have won. I understand that you were traveling; however, there was obviously a lack of communication as to where you were even though you said you mentioned it earlier in the year. Also, why the hell is traveling a reason for deleting your account. Like come on, are we actually suppose to believe that you deleted your account to avoid the temptation of posting. What did you do to avoid the temptation of buying cheap crack in India? Cut of your hands? Or resist the temptation every time you walked by a brothel in South Korea? Cut of your #$^$?. You can talk about the amount trades you made al you want, but when you lost about 90% of them I don't think they count for much. If you had maybe told someone the reasons behind your actions and where you were or you had showed up before the awards rather then after, you probably would have won. Your articles were and still are greatly appreciated, but you actually have to be around to win an active Gm award...or at least not have people wondering if your still alive or not. The next time you decide to bitch and complain and start dropping comparisons about injustice in India make sure that your own actions aren't the cause of your turmoil.
And I found myself still hanging around here on my holiday! hours in an Internet Cafe while travelling. Disgusting. I should have posted on the away thread before my impulsive attempt at self-control (still peeked in, but didnt waste more than a few minutes here and there). True. I thought everybody knew about my India trip, I'd been talking way too much about it I thought. But anyways... all things considered the decisions made is understandable even if not reflective of the reality of the season! justice by process rather than by outcome. I can live with that.
