I know that the Chicago Blackhawks are going to be picking first but how will the rest of the first round shake out now that some teams are out of the playoffs?

That is the top 20 but could change if EDM or PIT win the cup and those could turn into 30th overall.
Why would we use the new format when we are a year behind? The 06 draft for the NHL used the old format, I think that should remain constant here. We switch when the NHL switches.
Also, how are we going to do the draft? Id really like to do a live draft like we did for the fantasy draft. We could either go 1 round a night or have it like the NHL and do rounds 1-3 in 1 day and 4-7 the next. Id really like to see it live nonetheless.

ahhh yes, I suppose that would be the only change from the reverse order of the standings. It just seemed like you were posting it based on the new ruling. I didnt notice if the 8 teams added to the 14 playoff teams were simply in reverse order or if they were done using the new system. Sorry for jumping on you.
