Round 2 Discussion

Round 2 is about half complete now. All four series have been very good and hard fought.

Very surprised that both Dallas and Pittsburgh are up in their series. I am surprised that I am so far up on Phoenix.

There have also been quite a few OT games this round which is always exciting.

It will be interesting to see how these series finish up. I see the Tampa/Boston series going to 7.

Lets talk here post game about any games you wish

I agree with you. I'm surprised to see Dallas and Pitt up (especially pitt 2-0). Columbus is my cup favorite, so anything short of the cup final game would be an upset IMO. I think tampa is going to come out on top out east.

Look forward to the games today!

I'm not too surprised to see Edmonton up. Phoenix's defense just can't handle the Oiler forwards.

Pittsburgh I'm a little surprised by, but Montreal was due to fall apart all year and it seems it's happening at exactly the wrong time.

Dallas/Columbus has been a great series, each game has been decided by 1 goal with two games going into OT. If I can't shut down the Stars PP on Monday night I will likely be done for.

Some interesting results last night. I expected Montreal to come away with the win. No way they could go down 3-0 and come back. Boston takes a 2-1 series lead on Tampa. Game 4 will be huge for both teams.

Tonight, Phoenix needs to win to stay alive and Columbus has to win otherwise they are looking at being down 3-1

This sim sucks, I outshot Boston 131-81 in 4 games yet I get outscored 14-6. Totally dominated the series and I've done all I could to get the better goalie. Hopefully he starts playing like the 6 million dollar man soon cuz there's no more room for error.

That's playoff hockey for you. Run into a hot goalie and you are done.

I think both of you are done.

You have failed to mention the fact that you are 1 for 16 on the PP (6.25%) while we are clipping along at 5-16 (31.25%) in the series.
Although the 3 goals on 3 shots in period 3 of game 4 was kinda crazy (on 2 different goalies)

Yeah I didn't mention it because if you look at season stats our PP and PK are basically the same which once again shows you've been lucky and hopefully it turns around in Game 5.

Our PP has been lucky? we are 25.6% in the playoffs, so we have been lucky against 2 teams then? I changed our PP and PK around a bit once playoff started and it seems to be working.

Is anyone going to be able to beat you without being lucky? Come on man. Grow up and stop being bitter.

Yeah, Columbus, New Jersey and you but no way Boston should with Fleury in net.
The way I dominated the first 4 games though, I still think I can come back.

Goaltending is all about SP, Turco's is no better than Fleury's and our PP is clicking. It's as simple as that.
You have also failed to mention how we ended up with more wins than you in the regular season.

lol goaltending all about SP? Sure...
Like I've been saying from the beginning, ratings are too close so over 4 games anything can happen.
