2nd round NHL predictions

Well i was 6-2 in the first round series choices... I only got the Calgary and Nashville series wrong..

what are ppl's thoughts about the 2nd round.

New Jersey Vs. Ottawa   (Sens in 7 games)
Buffalo vs New York R   (Sabres in 6 games)

Detroit vs San Jose (Sharks in 6 games)
Anaheim vs Vancouver (Canucks in 7 games)

These are my choices.. I think the best series will be Canucks vs Ducks.. can Vancouver actually have enough energy to play their series.. after the Dallas series was basically a 9 game series with all the overtimes they played lol... I think they can pull it off..

I was 7-1, only missed the Ducks.
Here are my picks:
Sens in 6
Sabres in 6
Ducks in 5 (Canucks don't stand a chance and I'll bet with anyone on it)
Sharks in 6

Detroit vs. San Jose... SHARKS in 7

I cannot think of the last time the Detroit Red Wings were lacking high expectations.

I said somewhere on these boards that the Wings are the sleeping giant, the elephant in the room, that everyone thinks will leave quietly... but despite not being the sexy pick... they scare the hell out of me... I expect them to lose, but if they put it all together (they have all the tools) then it'll be their cup for the taking.

Don't you think?

They really are. I didn't get to see them a whole lot this season until the first round of the playoffs. They look great at times and at others just average. Their success depends on Zetterberg and Datsyuk. They have to step it up now that the leaders are gone. I picked the Sharks because I feel they are playing at the top of their game and I know what to expect. That being said, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Wings won the series, or the cup.
