Sim 4 or 8 games a night?  Majority wins.  Deadline to vote is tomorrow 8:29pm.

Vote 8 damnit!  What possible reason would anybody have for wanting things to take longer.  It's just no point except to drag things out...

VOTE 8!

I agree.  This is what we've been waiting for all season long.  Why prolong it any further?  Let's get the real season on its way and move it along!

The quicker we get the play-offs done, the quicker we can work on rebuilding our team again!!  We've got a very long road ahead of us.

Yeah come on, if we pick 4 games per day it's going to likely take two weeks to finish round 1

50-50 % vote..... so far

I like the NHL model: half the games per night

4 is nice to follow the teams and get a sense of how several series are going

Yes, it's great to follow...for the NHL.  I have to be honest though, I am not intrigued by following other teams in the BRHL, and I doubt the people not in the playoffs are either.  If I were able to watch the BRHL games in HD, then I'd say 4 a night...but you can be sure I won't be checking the scores on Phoenix's off nights...it's not like we can change our teams game plan if we face one of those other teams based on their play...

It says Day 1 Day 2 Day 3 on the schedule

Shouldn't we be simming 1 Day a night anyways

Coming from someone who didn't post at all until near the trading deadline (Sundin situation) that is no surprise.

Luke and Aaron of the Sabres, George of the Blackhawks, Dave of the Predators and myself of the Islanders certainly are paying attention, showing up daily.

And we as a whole really should be moving in the direction of increasing interest in general, for the health of the league.

Wow, so we're back to this again?  The message board stuff?  Get a life buddy, seriously.  We paid our $50 just like your self-righteous a$s, so shut the hell up.  As long as we're active where it counts (voting for all star game, lines, trades <when needed, not just so we can post how me and my get along gang are "so" active>, and voting on other league issues) so save your "we are the league" bulls*it for someone that cares.

By the way, have you read 90% of the garbage on these message boards?  It's like a grade 3 orgy on this thing, and comments like yours just add to it.  Get off your high horse.

And while I'm at it, save your "Conn Smythe" predictions for when you can actually field a playoff team.  (this last comment was not serious, it's just to show you how funny you sound...as if I'm/we're not allowed a say on the message board because we haven't been active in the past)....

Sorry, you only have 137 msg brd posts, you really have no right commenting on this league.  I believe you are to be heard only when you reach 500 posts.  Even if they consist of typing "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP" and "I keep this league going, along with 3 other teams, because I post ALL the time"

Cheers.

1) As mentioned by someone else, if this was something that I could watch in hi-definition on the TV, that's entirely different than doubling the time to run sim games when all i can do is look at the games.

2) I'm sure phoenix is not alone, and I know he's not, in not really particularly caring what happens in the other games at this point.  I know that I sure don't... or at least to the level of anything more than "interesting that team X won today..." or "looks like Team Y is going to sweep".  I don't think that makes anybody a poor GM, or shows a lack of overall interest in participating in the league.  It's not comparable to being interested in other games in the real NHL when you can watch them.

3) Even if you and everyone else is interested in the other games, I still see no point in doubling the time.  All that's being done is the games being looked at, which doesn't take much time.  And if you want to have conversations about them, go ahead!
