It seems like all season Pittsburgh has been chasing the coat tails of the Flyers, and at last there is a chance to make it exceptionally close in the standings once again with a game tonight in Pittsburgh.
Philadelphia has been hot as of late and will be hard to handle, but Pittsburgh has not been sitting back either, and the rather week division we are in as the league says seems to be picking up some major steam in the last 20 games.
Turns out the terrible start to the season Pittsburgh endured just might be what comes back to haunt them. " We want to catch Philly in the standings but capturing the final playoff spot right now is priority with both Carolina, Ottawa and Florida are still in view, along with Phiadelphia. I do not want to rely on anyone helping us and it seems no one is gonna anyhow after watching Montreal lose to Ottawa.
Tonight could very well sum the season up for the Penguins once and for all.
Looking forward to the the tilt.

Pitts came up with a big W here. Things just got a bit more interesting in that final playoff spot out East. 1 pt back but 1 less game to play as well. Pitt will have to win both and Philly will need to drop at least 3 of the possible 6 points he can claim if Pitt wants to make the playoffs.
What you said is true, but there is one other hope actually 2, as I have now climbed to within 2 points of both Ottawa and Carolina and 3 of Florida to try to sneak in to the final spot.
